Notes for Isaiah DIBBLE:
Isaiah served in the war of 1812. Many references to him may be found in the old Cobleskill Lutheran Church Records. Isaiah's tombstone, along with those of 3 Revolutionary War Zeh soldiers were destroyed and lost when parts of the old Zeh cemetery where they all are buried were plowed in by former owners of the property. Isaiah was the son of Asa Dibble of Saybrook, Connecticut and of the eighth generation from Robert Deeble and wife who joined the Dorchester Congreagation in Plymouth, England in 1629.

Notes for Magdalena ZEAH:
Although Isaiah is an old Dibble family name, I have not been able to place this man born about 1790, probably son of some Revolutionary War Soldier who moved from Conn. to upper N.Y. State. Tradition says he came from up Black River Country to Richmondville, N.Y. The death records of his children are conflicting, one claiming he was born in Conn. and another in N.Y.
His wife Lany (Lenah) (Helenah) Zeh (Zee) (Zeah) was from an old Schoharie County family. Her ancestor was given 2,000 acres by the king for services in the French and Indian War. She is buried next to David Zee 1725-1812.",
